About the artist
Born in Hokkaido in 1945, Wako Ito is a contemporary printmaker known for her mezzotints. Her works often present delicate florals or still life compositions. Between 1968 and 1970, she studied in Nice, France. A member of the Japan Print Association, Ito has exhibited in Japan and internationally, including solo exhibitions in France and Hong Kong.
